Live with other people? Simply splits each cost the way your household actually splits it and keeps a running tally, so everyone can see who owes what and settle up in as few payments as possible. It never touches your money and never asks for your bank login.
How it treats your data
It works offline.
Everything you enter lives on the phone and works with no signal. An account is optional: you need one to share a household with other phones, or to keep a copy so your data comes back on a new one.
Nothing about you is sold.
No analytics, no tracking and no advertising identifier. A household you choose to share is kept on a server in London, for the people in it, and for nothing else.
No bank login, ever.
Simply never connects to your bank and never holds or moves money. Costs are added by hand, photographed from a receipt, or read on the phone from a statement you downloaded yourself.

Before the price goes up.
Simply watches for a rise on anything you track, and warns you a month, a week and a day before a contract ends — which is when broadband, mobile and gym prices jump.
Split it your way.
Equally, by percentage, by shares, by income, or by exact amounts — per bill, with a default for the household.
Settle up simply.
A running tally of who owes whom, and the fewest payments that clear it. Tap any amount to see which payments it settles and where it came from.
Everyone agrees, or it does not happen.
On a bill more than one of you is in, marking it paid waits for the others to confirm, and changing what it costs or how it splits waits for them to agree. Removing one keeps its history, and it can be brought back.
Photograph a receipt.
Simply reads it on the phone — the shop, the total, the date — and splits it. The photo stays on that phone. Refunds run the other way round, so whoever was refunded owes the others.
Find what you already pay for.
Open a statement you downloaded from your bank and Simply reads it on the phone to find what repeats. It never connects to your bank and nothing is uploaded.
